Having raised over €5.8 million to sustain vital, noncommercial infrastructure and services within the open science community, the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS) is once again searching for new potential candidate organizations to fund during the 2024–2026 SCOSS funding cycle. SCOSS welcomes applications from across the world, particularly from Asia and Africa, although all regions should apply.
The SCOSS Board is prioritizing these five topics for this call:
- Diamond open access services or infrastructure
- Other open publishing services, tools, and platforms
- Open research data infrastructure and services
- Research assessment reform tools
- International networks that focus on setting standards, including identifiers and others
At the same time, SCOSS remains open to receiving applications from other types of services that address other themes outlined in the SCOSS strategic plan.
Applications are due by Friday, March 15, 5:00 p.m. Central European time (CET).
