Charlene Sorensen Named Acting Dean of University Library for University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan has appointed Charlene Sorensen acting dean of the University Library, effective May 1, 2020.

Sorensen is currently an associate dean and previously served as interim dean in 2016. Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan, she worked with Health Canada and the National Research Council of Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (now the National Science Library).

Sorensen will serve as acting dean while Melissa Just serves as the university’s interim provost and vice-president academic.
