Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) has appointed Marion G. Crain interim leader of the libraries, effective August 2016. Crain has served as vice provost since 2012 and as the Wiley B. Rutledge professor of law since 2009. She will serve as interim leader of the libraries for 2016–2017 while the university conducts a search to replace Jeffrey Trzeciak, who left WUSTL in July 2016 after four years as university librarian.
