Mary-Jo Romaniuk Appointed Vice-Provost for Libraries and Cultural Resources at University of Calgary

University of Calgary (UCalgary) has named Mary-Jo Romaniuk as vice-provost (Libraries and Cultural Resources) for a renewable term of five years, effective September 1, 2018.

Romaniuk is currently university librarian at University of Manitoba. Prior to going to Manitoba, she served as acting chief librarian at University of Alberta.

At UCalgary, Romaniuk will succeed Tom Hickerson, who is stepping down in June 2018 (see page 5 of PDF), after leading the UCalgary Libraries and Cultural Resources for 12 years.
