Dana Rooks to Step Down as U Houston Dean of Libraries

Dana Rooks, dean of libraries and the Elizabeth D. Rockwell chair at the University of Houston (UH), has announced that she will resign after 17 years as dean, effective upon the appointment of her successor. After stepping down as dean, she will continue to serve UH by assisting the provost “on several new initiatives in a new role in the provost office.” Details about the new initiatives and new position are not yet public.
