University of Kentucky has appointed Deirdre Scaggs as interim dean of libraries, effective June 26, 2017. The university is conducting a search for a successor to Terry Birdwhistell, who stepped down May 31, 2017, after leading the University of Kentucky Libraries since July 2010.
