Elizabeth Adelman Named Interim Vice Provost for University Libraries at University at Buffalo

University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, has appointed Elizabeth Adelman as interim vice provost for University Libraries, effective June 13, 2018.

Adelman is director of the University at Buffalo’s Charles B. Sears Law Library and vice dean for legal information services. She currently serves as an elected member of the American Association of Law Libraries Executive Board and previously served as chair of the Society of American Law Library Directors. She will serve as interim vice provost for University Libraries while the university searches for a successor to H. Austin Booth, who was named dean of the Division of Libraries at New York University after serving as vice provost for the University at Buffalo Libraries since 2011.
