The FORCE11 Scholarly Communication Institute (FSCI) is offering Association of Research Libraries (ARL) community members a $150 tuition discount on the August 5–9, 2019, institute to be held at UCLA.

FSCI is a weeklong program of intensive coursework, group activities, and hands-on training around trends in scholarly communication. Courses feature the latest technologies in research flow, new forms of publication, current standards and expectations, and ways of measuring and demonstrating success that are transforming science and scholarship. Instructors include top researchers and thought leaders from scholarly and scientific communication and publishing. Course topics range from an introductory overview to advanced offerings in collaboration, reproducibility, the public humanities, research mentorship, and others. All levels of participants, from beginners to advanced at scholarly communication, will find courses of interest.

As a partner organization of FSCI, ARL community members who register will receive a $150 tuition discount. Register online by July 12. Use the code ARL-MEMBER to claim the $150 discount.
