Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) associate executive director Joan K. Lippincott plans to retire on January 1, 2020, after 30 years of service to CNI. In addition to stewarding CNI’s operations, Lippincott has provided intellectual leadership for programs in teaching and learning, learning spaces, digital scholarship, and assessment. CNI will honor her at its Fall 2019 Membership Meeting in December. She will transition to associate director emerita on January 1.
CNI has named Diane Goldenberg-Hart assistant director designate, effective September 1, 2019. Goldenberg-Hart will assume operational responsibilities as CNI’s assistant executive director on January 1, 2020. She has served as CNI’s communications coordinator since 2004.
CNI is a joint program of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and EDUCAUSE that promotes the use of information technology to advance scholarship and education.
