Karen Williams Named VP for Information Strategy and University Libraries at University of Arizona

The University of Arizona has appointed Karen Williams to the newly created position of vice president for information strategy and university libraries, effective February 7, 2017. Williams has served as dean of university libraries at Arizona since August 1, 2013, and as interim vice president for information technology and chief information officer for the past year. This new position gives her ongoing leadership of both areas—University Libraries and University Information Technology Services.
