Kent State University has named Kenneth Burhanna dean of University Libraries, effective March 1, 2019.
Burhanna served as interim dean of libraries at Kent State from July 2017 through February 2019, and as assistant dean for engagement and outreach from March 2013 through June 2017. He was an ARL Leadership Fellow in 2016–2017.
At Kent State, Burhanna succeeds James Bracken, who retired in July 2017, after seven years as dean of University Libraries.
