Last Chance! Library Assessment Conference 2022 Early Bird Deadline Is Today

Today is your last chance to secure the Early Bird rate! Register now for the 2022 Library Assessment Conference, to be held virtually Tuesday–Thursday, November 1–3.

This year’s conference will feature invited speakers, formal papers, posters presented with live discussion, and interactive Assessment Accelerators (mini-workshops at no additional cost). Informal engagement for professional networking will be facilitated through chat and real-time discussions.

photo of Denise Stephens Denise Stephens has served as Peggy V. Helmerich Chair and Dean of University Libraries at The University of Oklahoma (OU) since May 2021. She returned to OU after serving in library and information technology leadership roles at the University of Virginia; The University of Kansas; Syracuse University; the University of California, Santa Barbara; and Washington University in St. Louis. She is an Oklahoma native who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from OU.

During her professional career, Stephens has focused a considerable amount of her leadership effort on considerations related to how academic research libraries develop organizationally and strategies for demonstrating relevance and value in the higher education landscape. Her contributions include service on the ARL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the ARL Research and Analytics Committee, as well as board service for several national organizations advancing access to scholarship and cultural heritage materials. Among these organizations are the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) Global Resources Network, the Western Regional Storage Trust (WEST), and the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA).

Conference Format

This year’s conference will feature invited speakers, formal papers, posters presented with live discussion, and interactive Assessment Accelerators (mini-workshops). Informal engagement for professional networking will be facilitated through chat and real-time discussions.

Some Assessment Accelerators have limited capacity that require preregistration and are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to ensure greater access for all conference registrants, we ask that you limit the number of Assessment Accelerators you sign up for.

The Association of Research Libraries and the University of Washington Libraries co-host the Library Assessment Conference.
