Lisa O’Hara Named Vice-Provost (Libraries) and University Librarian for University of Manitoba

University of Manitoba (UM) has appointed Lisa O’Hara vice-provost (Libraries) and university librarian, effective June 3, 2019. O’Hara previously served as interim university librarian for UM from October 2018. Prior to that, she was associate university librarian from August 2015. She was also an ARL Leadership Fellow in 2016–2017.

O’Hara succeeds Mary-Jo Romaniuk, who was appointed vice-provost (Libraries and Cultural Resources) at University of Calgary in September 2018, after leading the University of Manitoba Libraries for four years.
