The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Library (NAL) has named Paul M. Wester Jr. as director, effective October 19, 2015. Wester is currently chief records officer at the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). At NAL, he succeeds Simon Liu, who departed in early 2015 to take a position as associate administrator for research management and operations at the USDA Agricultural Research Service.
