Tiffany Moxham, the University of California Riverside’s (UCR) deputy university librarian, was tapped to serve as the interim university librarian. The announcement follows the retirement of Steven Mandeville-Gamble, who served in the role for 12 years.
Tiffany joined the UCR Library in 2014 as the coordinator of Medical Library Programs, and quickly rose to the deputy university librarian role in 2018. Since that time, she has been instrumental in offering a collaborative style of leadership with a keen focus on the oversight for the Content and Discovery Division, and has played a vital role in key administrative functions—namely library human resources.
Tiffany earned a master of library and information science (MLIS) form the University of South Florida and a master of business administration from the University of Cumbria in the UK. Her research interests focus on secondary research reviews and evidence synthesis projects, and she has authored several articles on systematic reviews on the effectiveness of search strategies in qualitative research.
