In May 2006, the Information Access Alliance sent comments to the European Commission regarding their “Study on the Economic and Technical Evolution of the Scientific Publication Markets in Europe.” IAA supported the study’s recommendations with the belief that their adoption would substantially improve the scientific publications markets, not only of Europe, but in the U.S. as well.
