LCA Submits Statement to House Judiciary Committee for the Hearing on the Scope of Fair Use

On January 28, 2014, the Library Copyright Alliance (LCA) submitted a statement to the US House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary for a hearing on the scope of fair use. In the statement, LCA describes how all types of libraries rely on fair use in order to serve their users and meet mission, how the federal government relies on fair use in the patent-examination process, and how rights holders rely on fair use in the development of new works.
