Kaylyn Groves leads ARL member communications across multiple media, to share news with and about members and to tell ARL’s stories. She sets and maintains the ARL “voice,” consistent messages, and high editorial standards in all the Association’s member and public news channels and publications, including web content, email newsletters, social media, and news statements and releases.

This is Kaylyn’s second tenure at ARL. After serving as the ARL Statistics & Measurement research assistant in 1994–95, she held positions at the National Gallery of Art Library, the University of Virginia Fine Arts Library, and the University of Oregon Art & Architecture Library before returning to ARL in 1999.

Kaylyn earned a BA in economics and quantitative analysis from Colby College and an MS in library and information science from the Catholic University of America. She completed the coursework toward an MA in art history at the University of Oregon.
