Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian The Health Sciences Library, The Ohio State University seeks a qualified candidate to provide leadership and instruction regarding academic publishing issues, retention of author rights, and federal funding compliance requirements. Additionally, candidate will serve as liaison librarian for health sciences faculty and students and provide training and educational resources for health sciences customers regarding the appropriate use of copyrighted resources and application of the U.S. copyright law. Candidate will work collaboratively with staff from the University Libraries Copyright Resource Center, University Legal Affairs, and the University Technology Commercialization Office. Required: Master’s Degree in library and information studies from an ALA-Accredited program; minimum of three years professional academic library experience with evidence of increased responsibilities; demonstrated understanding of technical and legal issues related to scholarly communications and copyright law. Salary: Minimum of $48,000, commensurate with experience. This is a faculty, tenure track position.
