Data Management, Access, & Sharing

Researchers who generate data face a myriad of funder and publisher policies and community norms regarding the management of that data for sharing, public access, and reuse. Internationally, FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable—is gaining traction as commonly endorsed principles. ARL works with partners on institutional policy and strategy for the implementation of FAIR data principles, good practice for data governance, and a framework for service provision for library operations in the area of research data management (RDM).
