ARL Annual Leadership Symposium (invitation only)

ARL will host its 13th Annual Leadership Symposium January 19–22, 2017, during the American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Atlanta. Symposium participants include master of library and information science (MLIS) students from ARL’s numerous diversity recruitment programs, including the Initiative to Recruit a Diverse Workforce (IRDW) and the ARL/Society of American Archivists (SAA) Mosaic Program.
The ARL Leadership Symposium curriculum focuses on topics related to the major strategic areas of ARL, as well as transitioning into, and building career networks in, research libraries and archives. The program includes presentations from ARL program officers, professionals in member libraries, and human resource professionals.
