ARL-SSRC Meeting on Open Scholarship in the Social Sciences (Invitation Only)

The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) will convene a group of people from scholarly societies, scholarly communities, library leadership, and other stakeholders with the goal to identify and define a shared, open, scholarly agenda in order to promote concrete next steps toward a more equitable, open, scholarly publishing infrastructure. A report of the meeting will be disseminated early in 2019.

Meeting Details

The group will convene at 4:00 p.m. on December 11, then adjourn to hosted group dinners. The group will reconvene at 9:00 a.m. on December 12 (coffee and a continental breakfast will be available at 8:30 a.m.), and the meeting will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
