The University of Manitoba has named Lisa O’Hara as interim university librarian, effective October 1, 2018.
O’Hara, associate university librarian for research support services, will serve as interim university librarian while the university conducts a search for a successor to Mary-Jo Romaniuk, who accepted a position as vice-provost at University of Calgary after leading the University of Manitoba Libraries for four years. O’Hara was an ARL Leadership Fellow in 2016–2017.
