Melissa Just Named Library Dean at University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan has appointed Melissa L. Just dean of the University Library for a five-year term starting February 1, 2017. Just is currently associate vice-president for information services, and director of New Brunswick Libraries, at Rutgers University. Additionally she was a 2013–2015 Association of Research Libraries (ARL) leadership fellow and an ARL visiting program officer in 2015–2016. At University of Saskatchewan, Just succeeds Vicki Williamson, who went on administrative leave when her contract extension ended March 31, 2016, after 10 years as library dean. Charlene Sorensen, associate dean of the library, has been serving as interim dean since February 2016.
