Web Content Strategist

The web content strategist develops and sustains a user-centered and empathy-driven content strategy for the library, guiding the creation, delivery, and governance of useful, usable, findable content across communication channels, with a focus on digital and web content. In this role, housed centrally within the user experience (UX) team in Library Administration and reporting to the UX Strategist, you will establish content workflows, structures, and a training program for a distributed team of contributors, ensuring that content meets both user needs and organizational goals. You’ll work with stakeholders to gather, write, edit, and organize content on multiple online platforms. You’ll also consult with stakeholders on content provided through tutorials, our social media accounts, digital and print signage, and promotional material. You’ll play a leadership role in our Web Strategy Group, which guides the library's public-facing web presence, and will oversee website analytics and quality assurance.
