Joy Kirchner Appointed York University Librarian

York University has named Joy Kirchner as university librarian for a five-year term, effective July 1, 2015. She is currently associate university librarian for content & collections and interim associate university librarian for research & learning at University of Minnesota and was an ARL leadership fellow in the 2011–2012 cohort. At York, Kirchner will succeed Cynthia Archer, who retired July 1, 2014, after 13 years as university librarian. Catherine Davidson has been serving as interim university librarian during the search process.
