Anam Mian is a senior research analyst for ARL’s Research and Analytics program. Her responsibilities include coordinating, analyzing, and verifying data for ARL’s annual surveys.
Prior to joining ARL, Anam’s professional background included positions at Fairfax County Government, the Center for International Policy, and Vital Voices Global Partnership. In her various roles, Anam provided qualitative research, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Anam holds an MA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies and a BA in government and international politics from George Mason University. Her areas of research and writing include racial and gender equality, and regional developments in the Middle East and North Africa.
