Samantha Musser joined ARL in September 2021 as a program manager. Sam provides support to the Member Engagement and Outreach Committee, the Program Strategy Committee, the Board of Directors, and ARL’s Executive Office.
Previously, Sam was executive assistant to the director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery. She also completed internships with the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, the US National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
Sam earned a master’s degree in modern and contemporary art from the University of Edinburgh and a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.
