Senior Director, Finance and Administration

Amy Maden has served as ARL’s senior director, Finance and Administration, since December 4, 2023. Amy is responsible for the Association’s financial, administration, and grants management. She engages with the ARL Board Finance and Audit Committees and manages the Association’s financial and business relationships. She will set up ARL’s new office in the DC business district in 2024.
Amy has dedicated her career to supporting nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining ARL, she spent a decade in finance and operational leadership roles with the Nashville Public Library Foundation. Amy also founded and led a small business that provides outsourced financial analysis, reporting, and accounting services to nonprofits. She is passionate about libraries and the access to information and community they provide.
Amy earned her master’s degree in accounting and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her CPA license in Tennessee.
