Amy Maden is the senior director, Finance and Administration for ARL. Amy leads the Association’s financial, human resources, and administrative functions. She engages with the ARL Board Finance and Audit Committees and manages the Association’s financial and business relationships.
Amy has dedicated her career to supporting nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining ARL in 2023, she spent a decade in finance and operational leadership roles with the Nashville Public Library Foundation. She also founded and led a small business providing outsourced financial analysis, reporting, and accounting services to nonprofits. Additionally, Amy has designed curriculum and facilitated training for nonprofit leaders on financial management, internal controls, budget development, and grants management. Amy currently serves as a board member for several nonprofit organizations in the Middle Tennessee area.
Amy earned her master’s degree in accounting and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and holds a CPA license in Tennessee.
